About Me
I was raised in Grand Prairie, Texas and wanted to work in movies for as long as I can remember. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and moved to Los Angeles after getting hired as a runner for a vendor to movie studios. There I learned motion picture marketing and honed my craft as an editor of trailers, tv/radio spots, and reels on campaigns such as Madagascar 2, Wall-E, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Fault In Our Stars, Daddy’s Home, and Jumanji. I have worked on innovative marketing campaigns with a myriad of gifted producers, editors, graphic designers, and music supervisors.
Several years into my editing career I started voicing trailers as a “temp” narrator until I got my first paid voiceover job on a Gilmore Girls tv spot. Soon I voiced campaigns for Hannah Montana, Charlotte’s Web, The Holiday, Star Wars trilogy, Indiana Jones, and Star Trek. I honed my craft to include action, horror, comedies, and dramas. Since then I have continued editing and voicing successful campaigns across multiple genres and have added promo and commercial reads thanks to some coaching from talented managers and agents.
I still enjoy watching movies and binging on tv series as well as spending time with my family and friends. I am grateful for the people I have worked with and learned from. I look forward to the challenges of every project and relish brainstorming and creating with talented people.
